Introduction to the complete process equipment for thermoplastic long fiber composite materials (LFT-G)

date: 2025/02/13 Hits: 34
Long Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastics (LFT) is a new type of fiber-reinforced resin based composite material that gradually developed in the 1990s. It has significant characteristics such as high strength, high rigidity, high dimensional stability, high temperature resistance, low water absorption, low curvature, long service life, excellent high and low temperature creep resistance, and recyclability. LFT can compensate for many shortcomings and drawbacks of conventional short fiber reinforced thermoplastic (SGRT). Fiber reinforced thermoplastic can be divided into short fiber reinforced thermoplastic (fiber length generally 0.2 to 0.4 mm), long fiber reinforced thermoplastic (fiber length generally above 10mm), and continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic according to the length of fibers in the plastic. For fiber materials, they mainly include glass fiber, aramid fiber, carbon fiber, basalt fiber, and a small amount of metal fiber; For plastic materials, including various common ordinary plastics, engineering plastics, and high-temperature plastics, etc
Application scope:
This new material has a wide range of applications in the fields of automobiles, electronics, home appliances, communications, machinery, chemicals, sports equipment, medical devices, etc., and has enormous market development potential.
